About The Position

The Registered Nurse – Nail Care functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. This individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. The RN – Nail Care demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Nursing.
  • Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
  • Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB).
  • Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid. This is a condition of employment. Employee must immediately notify his/her manager or the Health System’s Compliance Officer if he/she is threatened with exclusion or becomes excluded from any federally funded program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as Certified Wound Ostomy Care Nurse/Nail Care RN.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
  • Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) and Certified Ostomy Care Nurse (COCN) offered by the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB), (CFCN) Certified Foot Care Nurse.
