About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act. Our RNs are patient advocates who provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. This position requires experience administering light sedation. Hours are 12p - 8:30p, 1st week are two 8 hours shifts and 2nd week are three 8 hour shifts. Flexibility to cover for vacations or call-offs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• 6+ months RN experience in critical care or related.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care.
• Act as a patient advocate to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Administer light sedation as required.
