About The Position

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is looking for inpatient Registered Nurses to join our team in the MM7 Cardiac Heart Failure Unit. This unit has 32 private rooms and provides a full array of services for patients diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF), including medical management of advanced heart failure patients and pre and post care for cardiac procedures. The position is full-time, night shift (7p-730a), requiring every other weekend and rotating holidays. Baystate Medical Center is committed to providing elbow-to-elbow support and equipping nurses to deliver the best care for patients.

Requirements

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
• Manage medical care for advanced heart failure patients.
• Assist in pre and post care for cardiac catheterization, ablation, pacer placement, cardioversion, and TAVR.
• Utilize CardioMEMS technology to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
