About The Position

Great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to those we serve at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC). Our MICU is a 16-bed unit that cares for a wide patient population including diagnoses such as sepsis/septic shock, acute respiratory failure, post cardiac arrest, liver failure, GI bleed. Nurses will use arterial lines, ventilators, intraortic balloon pumps, EKOs, CRRT while caring for their patients. Our team includes a Clinical Nurse Specialist who focuses on nursing quality outcomes and staff education and support. Requirements

  • A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
  • BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
  • Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire

  • 1 Year of Intensive Care Nursing Experience Preferred
