About The Position

The Medication Services department is looking for a Registered Nurse to assist clients in need of Level 1 Services in valuable and exciting ways. The successful RN applicant will provide services as a Nurse/Case Manager. The other role responsibilities offer the opportunity to join our Medication Services Department team in providing clients with the opportunity to receive a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain to improve symptoms of depression. Additionally, both roles provide the opportunity to work with fellow nurses, medical assistants, case managers, counselors, APRNs and Psychiatrists to enhance client recovery and promote their quality of life.

Requirements

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: We are seeking RN applicants who have a passion for working with Level 1 clients. Past experience working with people experiencing mental illness and substance abuse disorders is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Education: Associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing required. We offer tuition assistance as part of our awesome benefits package, so we welcome candidates who are looking to further their nursing education.
  • Qualifications: Licensed RN in the State of NH, current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse (PMH-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Assess client status and needs
  • Advocate for TMS Services as appropriate to client needs and goals
  • Assist with the delivery of TMS services as relates to an RN’s defined role functions
  • Support goal achievement as appropriate to the role of an RN in an outpatient mental health treatment setting.
  • In conjunction with the client’s treatment team, assist the client in development of a treatment plan targeting the client’s goals for treatment
  • Recommend and advocate for ancillary services to support recovery
  • Provide occasional psychotherapy services as appropriate to client needs and concerns
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Promote maintenance of mental and physical health through appropriate service provision, referral services and community integration efforts
