About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Med/Surg Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic and trauma surgical experience. The ideal candidate will be confident managing post-operative orthopedic and trauma patients in an acute care setting and capable of delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience with Ortho/Trauma focus
• Experience in similar size acute care facility
• Strong clinical skills in post-surgical orthopedic and trauma care
• Active RN License (state-specific)
• Required certifications (as per facility standards – e.g., BLS)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and trauma surgical patients
• Monitor post-operative patients including joint replacements, fractures, and trauma cases
• Administer medications and manage pain control effectively
• Assist with mobility, rehabilitation, and recovery processes
• Monitor for complications and escalate care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
