About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in post-operative care and capable of managing a diverse adult patient population.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Active RN license required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, especially post-surgical cases
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Manage equipment such as IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Respond to patient needs and changes in condition
- Float to other units as required
