About The Position

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel Position (with $6,000 Completion Bonus) Location: Pendleton OR Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 10 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Pay: $2,037.24/week (plus $2,000 completion bonus per contract, up to $6,000 after three contracts) Position Summary The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and surgical needs. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

BSN or ADN required.
Current RN license in [State/Region].
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; medical-surgical experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Nice To Haves

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
medical-surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
