About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a night-shift contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The RN will deliver safe, high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adhere to professional nursing standards and hospital protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Primary Source Verification through NYSED
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (required for Queens assignments)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
