About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical / Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, large acute care hospital setting . The ideal candidate will have strong orthopedic experience, prior charge nurse experience, and be comfortable floating across units as needed.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (state-specific)
• Minimum 1 year of recent MedSurg experience in a large healthcare facility
• Strong orthopedic experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to MedSurg and orthopedic patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Manage post-operative orthopedic patients and general medical cases
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity when required
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Float to other units or campuses based on staffing needs and competencies
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
• Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control protocols
