Join Scripps Health at Registered Nurse – RN – Medical Oncology unit and make a positive difference in the lives of the patients we serve. This 60 bed Med/Surg and Oncology unit prides itself on offering excellence in patient care. As a Model Care and designated training unit, you will have the opportunity to positively impact new nurses and be part of fostering new grads to be successful. With a 4/5:1 Nurse to Patient ratio, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. You will take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
CA RN License
One year RN experience.
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Current CA RN License
Current American Heart Association BLS

Responsibilities
