About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Group at the Skokie Ambulatory Care Center. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday to Thursday, and 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday. The role involves providing nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians, including phone triage, medication refills, and patient education. The nurse will also be responsible for reviewing and responding to patient messages and charting in Epic, the electronic medical record system. Additionally, the position requires travel to Highland Park once a week.

Requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
• 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians.
• Conduct phone triage and manage test results.
• Handle medication refills and prior authorizations.
• Convey plans of care and provide patient education/teaching.
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients.
• Chart in Epic, the electronic medical record.
