Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Part time Day
About The Position
The LPN is an integral part of the care team and a key contributor to delivering high quality care that is compassionate, consistent and reliable for our patients, families, units and practices within UVMHN Porter Medical Center including Helen Porter Rehab and Nursing. The incumbent is involved in direct patient care under the direction of a provider or RN, provides technical nursing care to patients in varying states of health and illness and performs clinical and administrative health care support services to patients and families according to knowledge, ability and duties assigned. The University of Vermont Health Network/Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison county and the town of Brandon.
Requirements
- Current LPN Licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required.
Nice To Haves
- An LPN with acute care experience preferred.
- Priority given to PMC Workforce Pipeline participants in good standing.
