About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for our client to join their Med Surg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current Tennessee RN license
- Current BLS certification
- One year of hospital experience preferred
- Proficient in interpreting EKG, lab tests, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for direction of patient care in the medical surgical setting.
- Consults with physicians, charge nurse and CNO on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
- Follows the five (5) medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors
- Prepares, hangs, monitors and discontinues IV fluids
