Heartline Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Telemetry night shift opportunity. The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing professional nursing skills to carry out the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, evaluation, documentation, and time management. This role emphasizes quality communication, teamwork, leadership, and professionalism while delivering safe, effective patient-centered care. The RN will coordinate and implement patient education, quality and safety initiatives, and activities of other healthcare team members while maintaining professional nursing standards. This role supports adult patients in a Med Surg Telemetry environment, caring for a variety of cardiac and vascular conditions and participating in unit-based initiatives and professional development activities as applicable. Schedule: This position is full-time night shift working 12-hour shifts. Compensation: Base salary varies based on experience level. Mid-grade hourly rate is approximately $41.44. Evening shift differential is $3.50 per hour. Night shift differential is $5.00 per hour. Weekend day differential is $3.75 per hour. Weekend evening differential is $5.00 per hour. Weekend night differential is $6.50 per hour. A sign-on bonus ranging from $15,000 to $20,000 may be offered based on RN II or RN III experience level. Relocation assistance is available based on distance from the primary work location.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (RN Diploma, ASN, or ADN) required
- Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia or eligibility for licensure in Virginia required
- Ability to meet unit-specific competencies and professional practice ladder requirements as applicable
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, or similar acute care setting preferred
