About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Float Pool) for an exciting Travel job in Falmouth, MA .

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience – Required
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Required
• Current BLS Certification – Required
• Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module and Basic Arrhythmia exam

Nice To Haves

• Travel nursing experience – Preferred

Responsibilities

• Practice according to entity and department requirements
• Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Provide care as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Offer effective patient/family teaching
• Document per guidelines and maintain accurate EMR use
• Administer medications safely
• Care for terminally ill patients and families
• Identify and report signs of neglect or abuse
• Manage patients with pain management, chest drainage devices, IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, post-operative needs, orthopedic diagnoses, and epidural analgesia.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac medications and emergency response
• Utilize time management effectively
• Respect and implement patient advance directives
• Maintain required licenses, certifications, and registrations
• Perform clinical skills safely and in accordance with protocols
• Address age-specific needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
• Perform other duties as assigned
