Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele (Day)
About The Position
Join our dynamic and collaborative Med-Surg Tele nursing team! Our 52-bed unit provides comprehensive care for a diverse patient population, including: Long-term patients pending placement or skilled nursing facility transfer Surgical admissions and post-operative care Medical management cases including: Hypertension Pneumonia COVID-19 Diabetes Amputations and other complex disease processes Our unit is equipped for remote cardiac telemetry monitoring. If a patient’s condition exceeds the medical-surgical level of care, we ensure a safe and seamless transfer to stepdown or critical care units—always prioritizing patient safety and quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Completion of all Orlando Health and unit-specific competency requirements
- Active Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required based on assignment
- NRP required for NICU roles
