About The Position

The Registered Nurse / RN for Surgical Unit provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse's competencies. Under minimal supervision, the nurse completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned. This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse / RN.
• BLS certification required, obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.

Nice To Haves

• Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
• 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg as Registered Nurse / RN.
