About The Position

The Staff RN for Medical/Surgical Units provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care for patients. This role involves coordinating care planning with other disciplines and performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred.
• Must possess a current California RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire or status change.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification within 120 days of employment or status change.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
