Munson Medical Center’s Family Birth Center houses the 19-bed Maternity Unit, the 22-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) , and the Healthy Futures program. The Family Birth Center features spacious, private birthing rooms where you and your baby will spend your stay in the hospital. Your room is fully equipped with the technical equipment needed to support your birth experience. Each room is large enough to allow your family to spend time with you and your baby and practice new parenting skills with the help of specially trained nurses. To support family learning and bonding, sleeping arrangements in the room can be made for one additional adult.
Requirements
- Licensed RN in the State of Michigan
- Experience in [specific clinical area, e.g., Med/Surg, ICU, OB, etc.] preferred
- Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
