About The Position

Bestica is seeking Registered Nurse – Maternal Child to support the Joint Base Fort Lewis-McChord located in Tacoma, WA. Work Experience: One Year of Experience in Nursing License: Current unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and/or territories. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA or ARC issued Neonatal Resuscitation Provider-Advanced (NRP) Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support (STABLE) US Citizen NACI background check Task and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive professional nursing care to postpartum mothers and neonates. Experience caring for postoperative patients. Obtains patient history, pertinent family history, and advanced medical directive information. Observes, assesses, and records symptoms, reactions, and progress assist physicians during treatments and examinations; administers medication and prescribed treatments, completes admissions and discharges, and promotes convalescence and rehabilitation. Manages care of patients for a wide range of procedures of an advanced nature and difficulty where there is a high risk for infection and bodily functions arc mechanically assisted by life support equipment. Knowledge of the transitional care of neonates is required. Requirements
