The Registered Nurse (RN) MAT Coordinator will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response. This role will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards. The Registered Nurse (RN) MAT Coordinator also includes but is not limited to the following: educate patients on health conditions, coordinate medication assisted treatment plans, communicate and act as the facility liaison with community resources, maintain compliance with various regulations, consult with the medical and mental health team, participate in collaborative internal and site meetings. MONDAY - FRIDAY 8-Hour Shift 40 Hours/week

Requirements

  • A current, valid state(s) licensure, certificate and/or credentials documenting ability to practice in applicable role (i.e. CMA, LPN, RN, LMHP, etc.).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare or similar environment.
  • Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities
