About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Manager for the 29 bed Emergency Department. The Manager will supervise and manage a 24-hour operation. Shift: Days Manager, Emergency Department is responsible and accountable for the daily operations to include managing patient flow, employee work assignments, resources, and mentoring and/or assisting staff. Interviews, hires, and develops team members with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Engages in talent retention strategies for the area(s) of responsibility.

Requirements

2 years or more of Nursing Leadership REQUIRED
2 years RECENT RN bedside ED experience REQUIRED
Bachelors in Nursing (or higher) REQUIRED
RN License to practice in Virginia REQUIRED
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
