About The Position

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main OR PRN position. This role is part of a dedicated team that values positive patient interactions and aims to improve community health. The OR Registered Nurse will be responsible for preparing for surgical procedures, assisting with post-procedure tasks, and serving as a resource for staff. The position requires specialized skills to cater to various patient age groups and may involve rotating to different areas as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in the perioperative (OR) setting.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
• CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring adequate stock and appropriate equipment is available.
• Assist with post-procedure workload including cleaning the room between procedures and setting up for the next procedure.
• Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource for staff members.
• Rotate to areas other than OR and perform only those duties that have been demonstrated as competent.
