Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conduct surveys and licensure inspections of long-term care facilities.
  • Investigate complaints and monitor care provided to residents.
  • Communicate findings verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
  • Attend team meetings and share the workload equitably.
  • Accept on-call duty on weekends and holidays as assigned.
  • Present information to identify regulatory violations and determine compliance.
  • Ensure deficiencies cited are based on facts and supported by evidence.
