About The Position
LCH 5 Observation is a 16-bed unit with a mixed population of observation and short stay inpatients, primarily surgical or procedural patients who typically stay for 48-72 hours. The unit cares for children undergoing various procedures such as appendectomies, cleft lip or palate repairs, cardiac catheterizations, and biopsies, as well as those requiring special testing like FPIES studies, fasting glucose testing, and water deprivation studies.
