As a Registered Nurse Level IV, you will leverage your clinical expertise and leadership skills to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor to fellow team members, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care on the unit. The 2300 Unit at Unity Hospital is a 19-bed, high-acuity telemetry unit focused on delivering specialized care to patients with acute strokes, complex cardiac conditions, and a wide range of medical comorbidities. As a DNV Stroke Certified Patient-Centered Care Unit, it provides exceptional, high-quality care to a diverse patient population with both acute and chronic conditions. Key Features of the 2300 Unit include: Patient Population (Cardiac Care: Managing conditions like congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiac events, including intensive care for patients requiring IV medications such as Insulin drips, Lasix, Heparin, and cardiac drips; Stroke & Neurological Care: Specializing in patients experiencing acute strokes, transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), seizures, and encephalopathy), Telemetry Monitoring (continuous monitoring of heart rhythms and vital signs), Collaborative Team Environment, Nurse Autonomy, and Open-Door Leadership. A strong emphasis on professional development is supported through comprehensive onboarding, mentorship, and Nurse Residency programs. Advanced Skills Training includes Telemetry & Cardiac Monitoring, Stroke Care Protocols, and Critical Thinking. The 2300 Unit is a highly respected Stroke and Cardiac Medical Unit known for its dynamic and collaborative team, high-acuity care, and patient-centered approach.
