Position Details : Full Time -Nights - Robert Packer Hospital – Labor and Delivery unit Department Details : The Labor and Delivery unit is a t welve bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Post-partum (LDRP) unit that delivers 650-700 babies annually, specializing in the care of both normal and complicated pregnancy. Our nurse’s function in multiple roles as a labor and delivery nurse, circulator, scrub nurse, newborn nurse, triage nurse, and recovery nurse. As a nurse on LDRP, you support women through some of the most important moments of their life. Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
