About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - LDRP for a 13-week travel assignment in Newport, OR 97365. The LDRP team offers labor, delivery and recovery including post partum and newborn care by a highly trained team of nurses and medical staff in a family centered caring and medically safe environment. All sites are trained in GYN surgical care.

Requirements

  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS/BCLS required
  • Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Labor and Delivery
  • NRP and STABLE certification

Responsibilities

  • Taking vitals for the mom and baby
  • Administering medication
  • Monitoring contractions
  • Identifying complications during labor and delivery
  • Communicating the mom’s condition and needs to the Physician
  • Coaching the mom during labor and delivery
  • Caring for the mom after she gives birth
  • Providing emotional support
