About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift position in our Labor and Delivery unit at Baptist Medical Center South. As a Labor and Delivery RN at Baptist South you will: Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement Organize and supervision care provided by supportive personnel Coordinate care provided by ancillary services Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing and individualized plan of care Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units including, but not limited to, caring for the antepartum patient, high risk postpartum patient and the mother/baby couplet If you are interested in a rewarding career at a Magnet designated facility, apply today OR email [email protected]
Requirements
- 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience
- Less than 1 year Newborn Nursery Experience
- Less than 1 year Mother/Baby Nursing Experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- Associate's Degree - Nursing
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
- Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Responsibilities
