About The Position

Submit your application for Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant position and spend more time at the bedside with the patient. We are seeking a dynamic Lactation Consultant to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to obstetric patients in our patient-centered care model. In this role, you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

Requirements

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• 1 year of RN experience in lactation support is required

• BSN is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled direct lactation care and instruction to breastfeeding mothers and infants
• Promotes breastfeeding
• Assists with facilitating change within the clinical setting using evidence-based care management
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
• Educate patients while providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
