About The Position

The Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery at Sutter Health is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in California.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and NRP certifications required within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of recent relevant nursing experience.

• Fetal Monitoring Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assess and deliver nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Coordinate and evaluate patient care plans, incorporating psychological, sociocultural, and economic factors.
• Educate patients and families about care transitions and health management.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable laws to promote patient safety and care quality.
