About The Position
A healthcare facility in Scottsbluff, Nebraska is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit. This is a multi-functional role requiring hands-on experience across labor & delivery, postpartum care, and surgical circulation. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Circulation (required)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) State License (required at submission)
Nice To Haves
- C-section scrubbing experience – strongly preferred
- NICU or Pediatrics experience – preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal health status throughout the care process.
- Circulate during deliveries and obstetric procedures
- Assist with C-sections (scrubbing experience preferred).
- Collaborate with NICU and pediatric teams when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and patient safety protocols.
