Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery (L&D) - Full Time Night + Rotating Weekends & Holidays
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Labor & Delivery unit. The hospital has a long history of caring for mothers and babies, dating back to 1892 in Manhattan and delivering nearly 100,000 babies in Queens since 1957. The Labor and Delivery nurses foster a supportive and compassionate environment, providing care through all phases of ante- to postpartum. Nurses specialize in various Women's Health areas, including obstetrics, gynecology, and labor and delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading healthcare professionals, requiring a strong commitment to excellence and professionalism. The position provides flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, and supportive colleagues. This is a Full Time Night position (37.5 hours/week; 7 PM - 7 AM) at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital/Queens, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license
- BCLS certification from AHA
