The Labor and Delivery unit functions Bloomington Hospital, and consists of 12 inpatient beds, a 4-bed triage area, 2 Operating Room Suites, and a 3-bed recovery room. This unit provides inpatient and outpatient care coordinated by L&D RNs to serve the needs of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients and their newborns. Our unit focuses on evidence-based care to ensure we are providing the best, most up to date care to our patients. Additional support is provided for patients and staff through the interdisciplinary team whose membership includes NICU, Adult ICU/PCU and respiratory therapy. Bloomington Hospital's Labor and Delivery unit is currently hiring for both Part-Time and Full-Time Night Shift positions.
