About The Position

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join its Labor and Delivery Unit. The Wesson Women’s and Infants unit is a labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum unit with 38 patient rooms, three operating rooms, a PACU, three nurse’s stations, one newborn nursery, and a Welcome Center. The unit performs approximately 4,000 births annually and houses the only perinatal/high-risk antepartum unit between Albany, New York, and Hartford, CT. It also features a level III NICU with neonatologists available 24 hours a day. Baystate Medical Center has achieved Magnet® recognition for Nursing Excellence and promotes shared decision-making among nurses and leaders regarding resources, research, equipment, and staffing. The organization is committed to safety and education, providing PPE coaches, educators, and appropriate resources. Requirements

Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required
Minimum 1 year of inpatient RN experience required
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (Required)
