In our Meridian Hospital, our Labor & Delivery RNs are skilled in the high tech aspects of birthing as well as high touch. We provide training in therapeutic touch, natural birth support, breathing techniques, water therapy, and supporting women's rituals around birth to help them become the most skillful and supportive nurses possible for every unique birthing experience. Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 1+ years of RN experience, with a focus on Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high-tech birthing practices.
• Certification in national certifications such as C-EFM or RNC-OB.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Support patients through the birthing process using various techniques.
• Adhere to AWHONN standard staffing ratios.
• Participate in continued education and certification opportunities.
