About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Sutter Health's Memorial Medical Center is responsible for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in an acute patient setting. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days for Labor & Delivery.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 30 days for Labor & Delivery.
• Fetal Monitoring Certificate.
• 5 years of recent relevant nursing experience.
• Experience with C-section recoveries.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate nursing care for patients in an acute setting.
• Deliver direct patient care and provide education to patients and their families.
