At Holy Cross Hospital – West Valley, our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit is a close-knit team dedicated to providing exceptional birthing experiences. Delivering around 250 babies annually, our unit includes seven private rooms, a three-bed triage area, and an OR for C-sections. Two of our labor rooms are specially equipped as natural birthing suites for mothers choosing unmedicated deliveries. Following birth, mothers and babies transition to postpartum/well-baby care, where couplet care is encouraged to keep families together. We occasionally support GYN and Med-Surg overflow patients, adding diversity to our care. As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for: Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. Schedule: 0600-1830. This is a PRN position that requires you work 5 shifts within a 6 week schedule period.
