The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. Full time, , 36 hours a week, variable shifts (self scheduling every 8 weeks). Riverton Hospital Labor and Delivery is an active and growing department focused on providing a safe environment and excellent care to our patients. We have 9 labor rooms, 3 triage rooms and 2 OR’s on our unit. We have an OB on site 24/7 to help support our patients and caregivers. We have the ability to care for laboring patients and their infants from 32 weeks gestation and above. Our nurse to patient ratio is 1:1 for active laboring patients and 1:2 for our triage and antepartum patients.
