About The Position

Registered Nurse - L&D

Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): Averages 350 deliveries per year 22 total beds; 6 L&D beds, 7 GYN beds, 7 Peds beds Patient Ratio ranges from 1:1-3 2 Ped Patients, 1 Mom/Baby, 1 MedSurg, 1 Induction, Triage own patients Types of Peds Patients seen on Unit: newborn to adolescentTypical diagnosis include fractures, Appendectomies RSV, pneumonia, asthma, fever, r/o sepsis, gastro. Usually very short hospital stays.

Requirements

• NC or compact RN license
• AHA BLS
• NRP
• Stable
• 5 years' experience with a concentration in Labor & Delivery and Triage experience
• NO NEW TRAVELERS, must have completed at least 1 travel contract
• EPIC charting experience
• Strong L&D, Mom/Baby, Triage experience, GYN, MedSurg, Peds
