Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Connecticut Registered Nurse license and CPR (ACLS/BLS) certification required.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology, emergency/critical medicine and/or code team experience preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent venipuncture skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent patient care skills.
• Possess computer experience.

Nice To Haves

• Willingness to participate in professional organizations such as the Society of Interventional Radiology, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, The Association of Radiologic & Imaging Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care for patients and families.
• Collaborate with all members of the Radiology team and/or clinical care team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Utilize nursing practice to assess, measure effectively, and document needs and outcomes.
