Requirements

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advances Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • EFM certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
  • (RN) Registered Nurse Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
  • Health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured or infirm.
  • Promotion of wellness, maintenance of health and prevention of illness of others.
  • Administers medications and treatment as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner.
