About The Position

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking Registered Nurses to join their team in outpatient dialysis centers. This role focuses on providing compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. The position offers extensive training and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• No prior dialysis experience required; training will be provided.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic and compassionate care to dialysis patients.
• Build long-term relationships with patients and their families.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
• Conduct patient observations and measure vital statistics.
• Set up dialysis machines and ensure proper functioning during treatments.
• Float to various clinics during and after training as needed.
