About The Position

Deliver expert direct patient care promoting compassionate support, ensuring safe vascular access, and quality outcomes. Lead ultrasound-guided peripheral and central line insertions, supporting timely treatment plans, reducing complications, and improving patient flow across the hospital. Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to evaluate complex cases, recommend appropriate venous access devices, and optimize care coordination for high-acuity patients.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Experience in the ICU, Pediatric Critical Care, and / or experience with ultrasound guided IV insertion
