The RN in this role will partner closely with our Interventional Radiologists, functioning as a physician extender to support smooth and efficient department operations. Key responsibilities include reviewing charts for scheduled procedures, entering orders at the direction of the provider, and coordinating communication between patients, inpatient units, ordering providers, and the IR team. This ensures patients are properly prepared and that daily workflow proceeds with minimal disruption. A background or familiarity with Interventional Radiology procedures is preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks over time. This is a part‑time, Monday–Friday role (8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.), with the potential to grow as the position evolves. No call is required. This position is designed specifically to provide physician support through pre‑procedure coordination, chart reviews, and order preparation. Requirements

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • 1+ years of RN experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to manage multiple patients and tasks over time
