Our Clinical Nurses (RN) in IR independently provide care to adult patients presenting for pain multiogram minimally-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using medical imaging guidance, including pre, intra, post procedure management. The IR Nurse routinely administers procedural sedation for the IR patient. Working with a dedicated team, the RN provides evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment, and serves as a resource for other team members. Requirements

  • A diploma/degree from an accredited nursing school (a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, or agreement to enroll within six months of employment)
  • A license (RN) to practice in Maryland or the ability to obtain a Maryland license based on timeframe of licensing board
  • At least two years of clinical nursing experience in critical care, and/or Interventional care required
  • Healthcare Provider-Level CPR (BLS) certification
  • ACLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide care to adult patients presenting for pain multiogram minimally-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using medical imaging guidance, including pre, intra, post procedure management.
  • Administer procedural sedation for the IR patient.
  • Provide evidence-based, high quality care, including patient assessment and treatment
