How you’ll make an impact in this role Proficiently manage circulating and scrub nurse roles during complex cases such as angiography, biopsies, and stent placements. Administer procedural sedation (conscious/moderate) and maintain continuous hemodynamic and vital sign assessment throughout the procedure. Implement strict radiation safety protocols (ALARA) and serve as a patient advocate by ensuring informed consent and verifying NPO status. Execute thorough pre-procedure assessments and deliver detailed post-operative education and recovery monitoring to prevent complications.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • 1+ year of acute care experience
  • Applicable license and/or certification per contract requirements required
