About The Position

UW Medical Center-Montlake - OB/GYN and Primary Care Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse. This position will support several clinic providers specializing in internal medicine and primary care. Our OB/GYN and Primary Care Clinic provides routine and complex family planning, treatment for dysplasia and HPV, gynecologic surgery consultations, internal medicine consultations, behavioral health services, and expert second opinions. Requirements

  • 2 years of recent medical-surgical, internal medicine, or ob/gyn nursing experience
  • Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
  • Active BLS Certification

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our internal medicine patients to provide consultative care
  • Answer patient calls and eCare messages
  • Follow up on medical records and test results
  • Manage prescriptions and referrals
  • Provide nursing advice in person, via phone, and via telehealth
  • Handle phone triage on a daily basis, for both our internal medicine and our ob/gyn phone lines
