About The Position

Providing high quality, skilled, whole-health services within a rehabilitative and therapeutic model of care. Actively engaging with clients, developing positive relationships that support the client in meeting their goals. Acting as a collaborative team member to any program within the organization, leading and addressing comprehensive health promotion. Facilitating preventative and restorative health and well-being education in individual, group and community settings. Using experiential learning as an intervention to support recovery. Acting as a liaison between the client and external care providers for whole health needs. Providing information and/or referrals to resources in the community for increased support and stabilization. Offering coaching on medication management. Documenting observable behaviors and symptoms.

Requirements

  • Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota
  • Excellent driving record, reliable car, and current auto insurance
  • High school diploma 4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental Illness, DD, ID or TBI
  • Has completed 30 semester credits or 45 quarter credits in behavioral science or a related field and: Has proof of a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults or children served and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields; OR Has 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with Mental Illness, DD, ID or TBI
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science or related field Proof of a practicum or internship requiring direct interaction with adults and focusing on behavioral sciences or related fields

Nice To Haves

  • Enrolled in or has completed an accredited Master's program in a behavioral science or related field.
  • 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with mental illness.
